Regarding the Khan vs Maidana fight just curious, did any of the judges give round 10 as 10-8, you'll probably be able to work it out from the score I just can't be bothered
Perhaps more drawn rounds should be scored, so many times you see someone nick into a 2 or 3 - 0 lead and really, nothing has happened
As we don't get that already? There is already a type of grading system where a fighter can go 10-8 without a KD as previously discussed. The alternative would be if the round isn't clearly won, score it even. I think this would give a more just decision too.
If they just gave clearer criteria to judges rather than such subjective scoring practises it would make a graded system much more practical. The only reason they don't is that it's difficult to implement it across such a fractured sport.
On the DA v LM fight, I had a draw. DA pinching 1,2,3,5,9 and one even. I was disgusted at my own scorecard because of the rules I had to judge the fight. Matthyse was by far the better and should have been a comphensive winner.
What about it? I'd say a 10-9 to Hearns. You mean 6? Now that was brutal. Going to re-watch that now. How would you score it Gaz? Can't remember how many knockdowns there was.
