I don't see anybody worried.

There's a very slight concern in everybodies mind i think, because let's face it Katsidis has took some beating's over the last year or two. But i'm confident there's still more than enough in his tank to see of Burns, and even Mitchell if they rematch

 

Ask yourself this: would Ricky have any chance against the Katsidis that gave Marquez hell? No, of course not.

Burns UD for me.I think hes going to surprise a lot of people and put on the performance of his life.I do think Katsidis is past his best but even so,Rickys a huge underdog and if he wins then he deserves massive credit.
Katsidis has fought the much better opposition but whos he actually beaten? I think hes being a little overrated while Burns underrated to be honest.
Anyway it will be a great fight im sure.

No one is saying hes going to anally ****/demolish/destroy/murder Katsidis though are they?

Rickys best win is Martinez.Whats Katsidis best win? Is it much better? In fact is it even better? When has Katsidis even won a fight where he was a big underdog? Rickys done it.This is nothing new for him.I know now everyone says Martinez is **** but before the fight I bet a lot of the same people saying Katsidis will kill him also said it about Martinez.I might be wrong but I doubt it.If Ricky does win then to some it will be because of Katsidis being shot and not because of what Ricky did in the fight which is a shame imo.

 

Katsidis comfortably beats the fringe level fighters like Escobedo, Chavez, Mitchell and has generally done it in impressive fashion. He's been competitive with genuine world-class guys like Casamayor and Marquez, and a very close fight with Juan Diaz.

The only thing Martinez had was a belt he picked up from a **** champion who picked it up from a guy who was given it by his promoter.

Ricky, meanwhile, lost to Alex Arthur and Carl Johanneson.

 

Difference is Burns comes out of fights against Guerrero & Marquez in a coma. Whilst Katsidis comes out battered & bruised.

Ricky has never had that world level test yet, Katsidis has and hes facing a fighter who lacks the skills and power both the fighters i mention have.

 

I won't say it is a complete mismatch like some people are saying. But I will take Katsidis for the win

 

But whats his best win? Forgot about his losses.The way Katsidis is being talked about on this forum you would expect some great wins by him but we all seem to be struggling to come up with one.

Yes he has and guess what? Hes lost everytime.

 

I hope Burns decision .I will back and route for him all the way .I got either Burns decison or Katsidis to knock Burns out with a brutal left hook .JMM shot.
