i rewatched the fight today and i dont know what larry and the HBO team was all about marquez won that fight clear and it wasnt very close, marquez was clearly controlling the fight and ledderman kept on riding barrera's di*k, wtf is wrong with hbo? the judges that scored the fight had it right (for once) :hat
it was a close fight but a weird one when i rewatch it barreras punches seemed off not as well timed as they usually were and not thrown as good i really feel that if marquez realised this and became more agressive he would of won in a much more convincing fashion
A point or two either way, or even a draw, would have been a fair result. Marquez got it WAY too wide!
In terms of punching technique, that's probably the best fight that I have ever seen. I had Marquez winning an extremely close fight, I'm suprised that nobody has mentioned the ref and his decision for no knockdown and a point deduction to MAB.
WTF!! I just watched this yesterday.. haha I thought it was very close and Barrera clearly controlled several rounds. Nady also missed that knockdown which was hilarious because it was so clear. Probably one of my favourite fights.
i know that but he was also saying coming into the pacquiao fight that he didnt prepare properly that he wasnt motivated for the marquez fight
Barrera not gettin credit for a clear knockdown and then getting points deducted for hittin maruez while he was down def cost him the fight... What a badass but
If you have watched HBO boxing in the past you would know they love MAB. They kind of quit on him after he got schooled by Jones, but they were back on his nuts after he beat their cash cow in Hamed.
you are an idiot if u didn't think this fight was close. if barrera didn't foul and the knockdown was counted then mab should of gotten the nod.
Close but very clear for Marquez, the #1 out of the 3, 2 wins over Pac, and a shot over the hill Barrera, Good thing Morales never fought Marquez.
