Genuinely hope Katsidis stops Burns and stops him early so it's convincing. Fed up with this ****...

    Billy,
    English? Scottish?
Are you serious? You think that Burns being Scottish influenced what I said? I have worked for a Scottish paper since 1999. I'd back myself to have seen more fights in Scotland in the last decade than any other so-called English boxing writer.
You are writing complete and utter Bolloxs.
Ricky has gone on the missing list six times on the BBC London show - once you helped me track him down before the Martinez fight by sending me his number. Do you remember that? You sent me my number! Is it coz I'm English?

    Adios.

He beat the number one, albeit a weak number one

He was not a proper world champion and he was not the real number one.

Im pretty sure Jesus Chavez was a world champion. Didnt he hold the WBC super featherwight title and IBF lightweight title for a while. Katsidis beat him in the 8th of a 10rounder.

Obviously him being Scottish made no difference, however i do feel that you were a little disrespectful towards Ricky last night

Chavez was decent, as is Escobedo. Both better than Martinez IMO.

Even if he wasn't the rightful number one he was ranked there and therefore a proper world champion

No, look at the lineage of the belt he held. he beat Nicky ****ing Cook, who was only enjoying his second fight at the weight. In his first he fought Alex Arthur for the title he'd inherited rather than actually won.

Other than on paper, Martinez wasn't a champion. Plus he was ****. Facts are facts.

I do support Ricky, I'll be delighted if he wins. It just isn't likely to happen, is it?

I don`t always agree with Bunce, but there was nothing disrespectful said about Burns last night.Just look at his ESPN article online for **** sake,Burns is a top bloke but his trainer needs to stop looking for alleged slights on his fighter and get on with his job.The whole scottish - English accusation against Bunce is also bull****.
