The first part is very true Vitali was hardly unable to defend himself though. Being stopped in the corner on cuts isn't the same as being held up by the ropes being unable to answer a a barrage of punches, or losing round after round to the point the ref doesn't believe it's worth continuing the fight
o right i get it now you seen it on box rec..got ya...i had the privilage of actually watching it and i can tell you that the fight was stopped due to the doctor stopping it because of a cut...you should have said man you only seen it on boxrec...geezoooooo
you serious??did vitali look as if he couldnt defend himself.and did he look as if he was ready to be KNOCKED OUT??noope he didnt..vitali wasnt on the ropes taking unanswerd shots and not defending himself he was forced to retire on his stool by a tit of a doctor who ruined what was going to be a fantastic fight for us all..and by the way im glad he did big lenny was struggling and the last thing i wanted to see was him lose esp after getting my ass to the fight lol...
Ok, let me put it like this. Lennox opened up a cut on Vitali, it was a bad gash, but he could still see. With Vitali still being able to see, Lennox was able to open up 2 more cuts, and badly extend the condition of the first one. At the end of the 6th round, the unbiased, medical professional Paul Wallace, said, and I quote Vitali had to turn his head, to look at the doctor, he would not have been able to see punches coming (consider Lennox was able to hit him on the cut numerous times when he could see, so the punishment he would have taken after the 6th would have been ludicrous), therefore could not effectively defend himself to the satisfaction of the referee, and ring doctor. I am inclined not to disagree with the man who is a Doctor when he says Vitali could not see properly, in addition to the quite obvious visible evidence of the horrific cut. This is not even considering the fact he could well have gone blind.
How did innocent banter between to former rivals that have obviously bared the hatchet turn into . . . oh **** it LEWIS TKO 6! Big V got beat up by a guy who doesn't even wear the pants in his family. lol
so on this basis he was knocked out??because at the end of the day thats what was said and thats what i was questioning..what you have wrote has basicly confirmed what i said he was forced to retire on his stool and is a win but by no means a knockout..and vitali was seeing just fine we all could see he was seeing just fine just because the doc said that dosnt mean it was true my friend..and yes i agree with you the cut was horrific it still isnt a knockout which is what i was getting at and for some reason you seem to be trying to stick up for him and saying it was a knockout lol..why??
I never said he was knocked out, I said he lost by knockout (of the technical variety). Either way winning rounds don't count for ****.
