someone who took punches from a big puncher, from his last 3 fights he should have been KOed twice according to chincheckers, never been down at 140 whilst most others have. I guess everyone elses chin is below 0.

Wlad also lacks an inside game, which is why I do not rate his offensive as highly as some do.

    No inconsistency here, mate.

Khan's power and defense are both very ordinary (5-6ish range). As for his versatility, how the **** does he receive a 7.5? When Maidana closed the distance and turned the fight into an inside affair, Khan ate one uppercut after another and offered little in return. :-(

A versatile fighter would have adjusted and fought effectively on the inside. Even Berto gave as good as he got when Zaveck turned that fight into a close-in affair.

Traiding with maidana would have been a bad idea, I think that fight showed his poor footwork

As opposed to standing there eating uppercuts?? :rofl

You either use your footwork to evade that circumstance, which he didn't, or you revert to your inside fighting posture. What you don't do is remain in place and get battered, as Khan did against Maidana.

He would have taken bigger punches if he traded, again the uppercuts he took shows his poor defence and Footwork.
