With a victory on Dec 3, WW Mike Jones is in line for a title shot.[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]A pro since 2005, Jones, 28, has a 25-0 record with 19 knockouts. He is ranked No. 3 by the IBF, No. 1 by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) behind champion Manny Pacquiao, No. 2 by the World Boxing Association (WBA), No. 3 by the World Boxing Council (WBC). Not bad!!!

:thumbsup I like Jones. I think he can make for intriging fights w/ Berto or Ortiz now. And Khan will be at 147 soon. If he out grows WW, has some potential at 154 as well.

Mike Jones should fight Mayweather, with that jab he would give Floyd all kinds of trouble.

I think Mike Jones is very capable of beating pac in 2013, I think highly of his potential.
Its time he gets a titleshot soon, mike jones vs senchenko or kell brook vs senchenko, either guy needs to take that belt or fight berto.

Kell Brook would give him all sorts of problems, it would be a magnificent fight. They are the future of the division. I think they'd both beat Berto, easily. :rasta

    because of boxing politics!

going back to the topic, mike jones has the potential but i dont think he can stay long at WW. His built is a middleweight.

mike jones has the skills and speed but lacks stamina. he should work on that one to compete at top level.

Jones is a decent up and comer. Reminds me a little bit of James Page. Definitely more along those lines though than Mark Breland or Vernon Forrest.

Am I missing something? I honestly don't see anything special about this guy. Soto-Karass beat him the first time

Khan would school him, he'd be a decent test for Kell Brook though.
