I think he would stand a good chance against Henry Cooper. In his autobiography he states that he avoided matches with rough, brawling style fighters. He mentions Marciano, Liston, and Frazier as examples of who he would not fight. While I would definitely put Galento in a class below these guys, his style fits this category. Interestingly, Cooper said that he would step into the ring with Ali anytime.
