This fight should have happened last year. I will obviously watch when/if it does happen, but cant be ****ed with all the bollox that goes on forums / press etc.

This fight only has the potentially to become less intresting as IMO the hype / build up has already peaked.

IMO the fight itself will NOT be a classic and will not live upto the hype, it just proves the P4P numero uno.

Give me macklin barker anyday!!!! - a fight that does need to happen

Thats just stupid. That kind of mentality is far worse IMO than that of the 'Floyd can do no wrong brigade'.

Seems on this forum you cant seem to prefer either fighter without coming on here and spouting pure shite.

If not Pacquiao I can see him fighting Alvarez. Cinco de Mayo again so it'll do big numbers. At the very least the UC will be stacked with Mexicans

  5. Why is it?

It's still the same old Floyd fans just repeating what Floyd says.... even Rob has started to see the wood through the trees in that respect, and all credit to him.

    Anyways.... I'm out.

It's not Pacquaio who is the one that pops in and out of retirement.

Does anyone actually believe anything that comes out the mouth of a Mayweather?

    :deal

The Pac fight will 'fall through' because of Purse Splits/OSDT/Bob Arum/any other reason possible.

If Alvarez was to step in, that fight easily gets over 1mil+ PPV buys. Only question mark is i thought Golden Boy were looking at the Alvarez-JCC fight for mid-2012 as the big money mexican fight?

I think it should be implemented simply because of the day and age we are in.

It takes a pioneer to start something off, if there was no such thing we would still be in the stone age.:good

No he hasn't Rob's started to get pissed off with the fight not happening. You're claiming that Floyd's fans just jump onboard anything he says - Including whether or not the SKY IS PINK!!!!!!!! FFS :patsch

I prefer Floyd over Pacquiao and PERSONALLY would have him a big favourite in the fight should it come off. However I can agree that he comes across as an arse at times. I also agree that his attitude towards this fight is a big stumbling block with regards to it getting signed (incidentally you could not say the same with regards to Roach, Pacquiao, Arum etc etc).

It seems on this forum you cant have Floyd as your favourite between the two and still have a sensible, rational debate about it. Just a fanboy and no more.
At least the majority of Mayweather fans can talky rationally and admit that a large portion of the blame lays at his feet.

I've yet to see you do the same, so IMO your hatred of Mayweather is a far bigger issue when it comes to talking about the fight, than the minority who blindly follow him, and swallow his bull****.
