George Groves V Paul Smith 5/11

groves is levels above smith imo
all the smith brothers are over hyped here in liverpool. the only thing decent about smith is his entrance music, everything else about him is just plain average british level, which am not slagging or dismissing in any way, just think its time to forget the euro & even world title shouts that are getting mentioned on here. fair play to smith he has a decent following and there will be plenty of scousers there on fight night but i can see groves late stoppage. i believe if groves can take the power of kenny anderson he can defo take smiths, i know anderson faded badly but groves still managed to get up of the deck and stop anderson,regardless of anderson's fitness, smith has done nothing in his 8 year pro career that worries groves. in face groves has produced more in his short 3 year career. levels will be shown here and hopefully then the stupid shouts on the real gone kid being a future euro champ will be eneded. as skel1983 says groves can & will do whatever he wants in the ring come saturday!

 

Anderson faded because Groves was battering his body.

 

JUst watched that fight in the last 20 minuted, Groves was reckless in that fight, but as you say it was the body shots that broke Anderson down, I think if they fought again it would be an easier win for Groves.

 

I got Smith KO, kills me to say it coz groves is a beast, but I can just see him slipping up.

It's a good fight, and more than winnable for both lads, regardless of how you think previous form affects this fight

If you think this is a pick em fight you need help, you will never go against Smith everytime he looks **** you come on here with more bull**** then when his next fight is made how he has a chance and is training properly etc etc, he is average British Fighter nothing to be ashamed of but Groves is a different level to Smith.

I don't actually skel. Ask any of the sane lads what I did whilst still in the echo following his loss to degale.
I've never made any bones about the fact that I like smith as a fighter and if he applies himself I have said he could get a euro title, and very possibly a shot at a world if lucky (worse fighters have).
There are flaws to be exposed in groves as much as there are in smith.
To me it's a 50/50 fight. But also a crossroads fight, ESPECIALLY for smith.
