    I know what you are saying, but surely a resume points more to the context and quailty and manner of the win, rather than simply W, L or draw while a record is a strict record of what happened?

    You've just gone from one extreme with Floyd to the other with Pac :lol:

    Here's (in my view) an honest and brief appraisal of Floyd from 2006.....

    Judah - lost to Baldomir in an upset, win was impressive after early struggle. 7/10.
    Baldomir - only one good win in his career, durable though so Floyd thrashed him in a snoozer. 6/10.
    DLH - a bit of a meh performance, but against a bigger and stronger man. 7/10.
    Hatton - impressive win, nothing else to add. 8/10.
    Marquez - should have got him out of there, albeit after a 2 year break 6/10.
    Mosley - good win, alright Shane was inactive but Floyd dominated 8/10.
    Ortiz - did what I expected him to do against a fighter I don't really rate 7/10

    Now Pacquiao from Diaz onward.....

    Diaz - goodish win, Diaz wasn't brilliant but Pac thrashed him. 7/10.
    DLH - old, drained, but was a clear favourite coming in against Manny. Manner of victory impressive 8/10.
    Hatton - mentally ****ed since Floyd, Pac made short work of him. 8/10.
    Cotto - simply brilliant display. 10/10.
    Clottey - :zzz meh, 6/10.
    Margarito - had taken a few hidings, but bigger and stronger. 8/10.
    Mosley - :zzz Shane didn't really try, Pac won at a canter. 6/10.
