    Up resume!

...and make sure to heavily accent that 'e' at the end to **** off people who hate it even more!

  2. Yeah it's in vogue.

A bit like ''needs an American trainer'' or ''should move to Matchroom''

Or on the classic ''Montreal Duran''

A lad who works for a firm we deal with has the surname Duran, if his wife is ever expecting a boy I'll tell him to call the kid Montreal.

    Don't be silly.

Be an advocate of wielding a decent repotoire of words. I wouldn't say the word that can't be said, but I would write it in order to avoid repitition. It'd be one of the last phrases I'd use though, ledger, body of work, record, etc are words I'd use before it, but I wouldn't adverse to it.

It's a frivolous thing to get bent out of shape over.

Can I just say if someone wants to use it, as it is a word in English, it's technically spelt résumé. ;)

Derived from French obviously and is just another way of saying CV etc.

Anyway back to the thread, I couldn't really care less until they're in the ring together. I much prefer getting excited about fights we already know to be happening

Press alt and the letter at the same time to get the accents on your E's jpab. It's a vital thing to know when you're living over here, saves a lot of time & confusion !

Not at all, im not giving merit to fighters for being boring or exciting, just whether they won, the circumstances of their opponents and condition.

If people want to hate fighters like bitches then theyre welcome but dont shoot down one fighter and praise the other for similar - worse things.

That's pretty much how I like to judge fighters too, give them marks out of 10 for fights then get an average to see who I'd favour ahead of another. Got to say too, I agree with the scores you gave them too . Maybe a 9/0 for Pac's Hatton win, no way i saw that manner of win coming ;):good

  14. You could do this for a lot of pairs of fighters with several common foes.

Look at DLH vs Trinidad - most people are of the opinion that DLH would rank higher in any ATG list, and that he defeated Trinidad when they met - the judges obviously didn't agree.

But it is fair to say that Trinidad defeated more of their common foes in better fashion, often better versions too.

Whitaker - DLH received a questionable decision against a faded Whitaker, Trinidad almost shut a slightly more faded version out. About equal perhaps, slight edge to Tito?

Vargas - Trinidad pretty much accounted for Vargas as a top level fighter with a dominant stoppage win. DLH has an evenly contested stoppage win, a round earlier. Tito is superior here.

    etc etc etc.

I'd say that Mayweather's win over Mosley is better than Pac's, and he defeated better versions of DLH and Hatton in less impressive fashion - in particular DLH. Obviously styles dictate the Hatton issue primarily.

Pacquiao meanwhile has wins over two guys that Floyd wanted nothing to do with, for whatever reason, in Margarito and Cotto. It might be Bob Arum, I'm not sure. But both were makeable, winnable fights that he walked away from. One to fight Baldomir and the other for a spell on the sidelines.

Just adding those two to his record would make it look far better in my opinion.
