arum is pissed because he doesn't have that date if the floyd/manny fight don't happen. this is a smart business move by floyd.
If Pacquiao wins put Kellerman and ask Pac about the May 5th fight. Pac better not say "ask my promoter, its not my job" Great move by Floyd. :bbb
put yourself in arum's position and given all the circumstances see how well you can just set your ego aside considering how much arum earns. and i'm sure, the devil that he is, wouldn't lose sleep in earning significantly less. just read back through his quotes and see if he it not taking this seriously enough to plot something back. arum sold us shane-pac when we didn't even want it. bottomline, it has caused a big ripple in the negotiations. you can not deny that as evident by how arum has taken it. floyd has taken a risk in not locking in pac (much through arum).
Especially while the two are at the latter parts of their careers... trying to make all they can until the grand finale - Pacquiao vs Mayweather! :good
so without any negotiations, Floyd has already picked the state, building location for the fight, the month and the date. So, Pac and Arum should just go along with what Floyd wants because he might go on vacation again. interesting. :think
If Pac says some **** like that Kellerman better step up with something along the lines of "In the past, you've said 'ask my promoter' yet Arum has said that you make the final decision, we want to make sure that YOU want this fight. The opposing camp does, the world does, what about Manny Pacquiao?" It could be better worded but if Pac says yes then the pressure is all on fat Arum
I give it 2 days tops before everyone blames mayweather again. He can send ellerbe to suck off the entire team pacqiuao and they still will find reasons to blame him. May is perfect. 6 months.
Who cares whether Arum books it, Floyd books it, or they both go holding hands together to MGM's offices. The date and location is prime, and if Floyd is serious about making the fight, then nothing should be a problem.
As a current venue, I prefer the MGM over all. However, the parking lot @ CAESAR'S PALACE is far more rich in history and significance. Essentially, since it was basically a transformed venue and not stationary, you'd refer to the casino & hotel itself or the grounds of it. The quantity and quality of classic fights there can't be duplicated.
Why the **** you tryin to drive out to Vegas? You know the **** should be in Dallas. **** it ain't nothin but a 3 hour drive for you. You probably got family up there. I know I do.
