Calzaghe must be top 10 atg ?

top 10 ****ing nonsense. this is why the guy gets so much **** because his idiot fans making ridiculous statements.

Calzaghe wouldn't even make a statement like that himself, but when you have people saying it for him it really pisses people off and frankly why he gets called a bum despite being undefeated and having beaten greats like hopkins.

 

I think he was a great fighter, I have him about 960 atg. Could have squeezed into top 500 had he ever fought anyone of note that was not past their prime.

1) he retired undefeated with fine record 47-0
2) he reign his division with 20+ title defenses (beating a quite number of belt-holders)
3) 2division Ring champion
4) beat two other ATG (past prime tho) + 1 HOF
All above constitute his resume.

So to be fair name 10 names who can either surpass or equalize these 4 points ...

For example:
Hopkins
1) will retire with fine record but a few loses as well
2) reign his division with 20+ defenses
3) 2 division Ring champion
4) beat three ATG names + some HOF candidates
Hopkins > or = Calzaghe in terms of resume.

 

No way is he top 10 ATG.

 

Calzaghe was one of my favorite fighters but the top 10 is a little to high,

top 30 yes but top 10 or 15 no. i mean its no disrespect to him as a

fighter its just who do you take out and put him in front of him on

the atg list.
