So by prime you mean with Wraps, yeah? Hard to say, Mannys face was pretty bruised up after that fight, if Margo had some extra power/bricks in his punches perhaps he could have really hurt Pac and perhaps it could have been a cotto situation
Nah...but I probably would have picked Marga simply because around that time Pac was unproven above lightweight. Some Margartio fans claim he was already on the slide heading into the Cotto fight...I'm not so sure as I never followed his career close enough but I will say he seemed to regress technically a bit from his earlier days. Maybe once he got to the stage of world class level conditioning he just started throwing quantity at the price of quality. Anyway...Pac just to quick and skilled again...Can equal or exceed Tony's workrate and stamina.
Marg did put more of a beating on Pac than most realize, but prime...Pac would still win, but he'd have to be more careful.
Same result, same fight, except Pac would get into a few more hairy situations and be a little more bruised/busted up at the end. His speed and skills would always be too much for Margo, and Pac had better movement-based defence and much better punch resistance than Cotto ever did.
