no, but this one is blatant. Craig is biting his bottom lip to stop it from shaking. He looks like he is in town for a margarita fueled spring break, not a prize fight.

I don't think Craig will win but all this pre-fight mind games stuff is a load of shite. That's just his demeanor, he was the same before the Andy Lee fight and he sure as hell didn't fight like a guy who thought he'd be beaten up.

I don't think he'll disgrace himself either. He'll give Quillen something to think about, something he's never had to do so far.

Seriously? I haven't seen that fight but when i saw it on his resume i was suprised Miranda went the distance considering PQ's reputation as a puncher as Miranda's chin is very breakable. How bad was he hurt? I'll try to find and watch that find before tomorrow's bout. Mcewen impressed me in his last fight and i'm curious if he'll use the same pressure style rather than box. Really looking forward to this MW showdown, winner takes a solid step towards contender and loser should fight Jacobs or something, never happen i know.

 

Grendal is Craig McEwan's friend, so take what he says with a pinch of salt. He'd pick McEwan to beat Martinez.

LOL, True Elvis, I'd take a fully fit and prepared Craig to beat any middleweight around today and i'll continue to advise him to work harder on his strength and stamina and move down to 154 which I know he can do! Even with the short notice and the rest of the hassle, I still think he will do well here.
As far as Quillin is concerned he was in trouble with Miranda and has admitted it himself, though he says it was caused by a head-butt. Not true, Miranda put him under some pressure and won rounds because he was able consistantly to get through Quillin's guard and hurt him. Here is a bit of footage from Miranda v Demers which shows Quillin being hit by Miranda (about 1.00 in). Its not the "headbutt" incident which was later in the fight but in my opinion it calls into question Petey's own claims to future mega-stardom.

Craig is a quiet guy out the ring and laughs at all the trash talk in the build-up to fights. He was cringeing at Quillin's embarrassing "I have a dream speech" at yesterday's press conference where he thanked everyone and his granny, finishing off by thanking God and then said he was going have a dream on Friday night that he was going to be a world champion and Craig was going to have a nightmare on Friday night as he was going to be destroyed on Saturday. Even Angulo was looking over at Craig, shaking his head and laughing. Does Petey never wonder why he has no fans? My daughter Alison texted me today "you didn't tell me Craig was fighting Matin Luther King!"
