Thanks for posting these, stoo. There's a lot of information to gain here. I wish they would have done Jones vs Shogun. Shogun was working very hard from the bottom in the 1st round, and I would have love to have seen if Rua could've done something better. That, or see just what Jones was doing to make him work so hard.
No problem fella. It would be interesting to hear their thoughts on that fight. How Jones utilises his long limbs in the ground game and leverage in his strikes is something quite unique in combination I think Id love to hear how they would deal with someone like that when he postures up in half guard/full guard
From memory, Shogun was flat on his back the whole time Jones was in his half guard, which is a massive no-no. I'd love to see what they would've recommended he did, considering Jones' elbows from the top and the threat of getting choked with those ridiculous broomstick arms half guard is not a position I'd want to be with Jones.
