To be fair Brian Smith doesn't spend too many years out of the finals, it's just that he can't get the horse past the post.

I honestly think most of it is mental.

The mighty Red V, will now drop to the bottom of the top 8.

 

The Brian smith wane syndrome will almost be at full throttle in 2012. He is already at logger heads with the board because they overruled him when he wanted carney out and didn't want anasta resigned.

Smith will do well to see out 2012.

 

So he is actually trying to win a premiership and the dumb ****s at the Roosters want to cling at straws which turn out to be burning fuses.

To be fair, it's not uncommon for the board to overrule the coach, and it happens at most clubs. Shane Richardson is a prime example of wanting his way all the time, and perhaps that could have been a reason why we didn't get Bennett as Bennett demands complete control.

 

I dont think they will even figure in the Semis next year

Here's a random, out of the box prediction - Wayne Bennett's tenure at Newcastle will be full of trouble and strife and may end early.

 

Tinkler has sacked or taken to court just about everyone who has had a business relationship with him. And this guy is known not to pay his bills or be very late with payments.

I personally know of a trainer who was guaranteed her position with patinack ( patnsack) farm only to be cut two weeks lately via email.

Ive heard this whole " galvanise the knights community and the newcastle township" with his sporting ventures is all a plan to get the people on side for when he applies to open a second coal terminal in the city.

This guy is a ruthless grub. Cant see it working long term.

 

The way the whole Jason and branko culina thing turned out with the newcAstle jets was pretty lousy. Could be a sign of things to come.
