really? hhhmmm thats interesting cas he did take 3 clean left hooks from trinidad without flinching but oscar put him down with one in the 1st round of their fight

i never usually put much stock into what fighters say about their opponents though, they always change their opinions.

I remember Oscar's dad clapping after about the 9th round like I haven't seen him. He was standing, smiling and clapping, excited about Oscar's performance. If he was happy, you know oscar was kicking some ass. That dude doesn't rejoice very often. He thought Oscar had it in the bag also. Oh well. What could have been..
If Oscar got that decision, he wouldn't have brawled as much with Mosley and probably would have boxed to a win as he did in his 2nd fight which I thought Oscar clearly won. No point kicking a dead horse though.

Yea, Mayorga was an idiot to do that because the last one wobbled him. LOL He was competitive and I think that was the turning point in the fight. You don't let guys like Tito or Oscar have free shots. Oscar's wasn't free though and he almost took Mays head off.

    Oscar won 9-3

Tito only won 4, 11, 12, and if you want to be generous to Trinidad, you can give him rd. 10.

Both Hopkins and Winky credit Oscar for creating the blueprint to beat Tito.

    This :deal

The myth that DLH won the first 9 rounds has gotten passed around enough that people actually believe it.

Oscar won and he made it look easy. But both were exposed. Oscar was believed to be gassing out the reason for him running not willing to engage, but after dominating Tito ita not surprising to think Oscar was confident he was winning the fight comfortably another reason to not take risks. As for Tito, he got exposed by not being able to cope with a mobile, speedy fighter with a jab. The other thing was Tito not as powerful as previously thought. He caught Oscar after the bell with a hook and Oscar shook it off. Tito might of won 4 rounds at the most and thats being modest.

If Tito cannot punch why did ODLH run scared and get on his bike. Tito has beaten many mobile fighters e.g. Oba Motorcity Carr, Pernell Whittaker etc.

When it's over a hundred fuking punches you know what's up. LOL Lets not forget tito's eye, nose and blood stained shorts.
Yea Oscar ran for 2 rounds, his corner clearly told him to box and he did that. Don't forget Oscar still landed more punches in those final rounds even though he was "running". But look at the 10 rounds before that. Tito had a couple rounds, but he was outclassed the other 7-8 rounds.

So now he only ran for two rounds i thought it was three, and boxing is not about who bleeds less or who has a swollen eye at the end of the fight. If it was an amateur fight then dlh wouldve won easily because they go by punches landed but is the pros where a lot more goes into consideration.
