Bob Foster is one of the most underrated fighters of all time. He is a top 5 light-heavyweight of all time in my book and one of the best h2h ever.

There's a lot of footage of Joey Giardello out there. Worth a try.

Yes. It's a very good site although you can't download anything off of it. Wouldn't mind using some of those clips in highlights.

:D...that's the truth..the Massachusets Mauler would put you to sleep, and not in an exciting way.

A few clips don't really don't tell the story.

He wasn't that boring but he fought in the era of Sugar Ray Robinson and Carmen Basilio among others. Compared to them he didn't exactly excite the crowd and having a very bland personality didn't help either. He just got over-shadowed, even his title claim compared to Fullmer's, and the pair of "wins" over Robinson didn't convince anybody.

He did administer a severe beating to a one-handed Basilio in the late rounds.

What a wonderful jab he had. That's the truly impressive thing about Foster: I don't think he ever really fell in love with his power like so many that could hit the way he could did.

Foster was pummeling Quarry with his jab alone long before he sparked him. Great stuff.

I must watch more of this man. Where should I start, brahs?
