So Why Is No One Giving Glen Johnson A Chance?

I'm not favoring Johnson but it seems no one is giving Glen any kind of chance at all. Usually you have SOME people backing the underdog.

It's almost like the Andrae/Bute fight never happened, where an EXTREMELY crude fighter pressured Bute and for all intents and purposes knocked him down.

Andrae was more or less done with the game hunger wise after that fight. Knocking out a disinterested Andrae who went on to lose to ****ing Aaron Pryor Jr doesn't impress me that much.

Also, Johnson has rocked every fighter he's been in with the past few years.

Froch (Acclaimed chin) Cloud. Dawson. His last two wins are via knockout.

I don't know, I have next to no faith in Bute's chin. I feel like Johnson is going to hit him one way or another and I'm just not confident he'll react well to actually being hit for once in the past few years.

    Thoughts?

Johnson is an old man and is no BHOP. He got hurt by Cloud and just plain outworked. Bute by points.

Coffe is just too damn old, he cant keep up the work rate while throwing hard punches like he used to even 5 years ago.

Bute is a very accurate puncher and will wear down Coffe's body and unless Bute gasses he will likely stop Coffe around rd 9

I don't see where nobody is giving GJ a chance. I've been lead to
beleive by the boxing fraternity that bute is a slight favorite, but
that the road warrior is a very live dog.

BTW, are you in san antonio yet, you PUNK *****!

Glen has a long history of losing at this level. I love the guy, and try to see all his fights. If he wins, I'll be elated, but I don't think he has the chance of a snowball in hell.

Johnson's work rate is still decent, Bute isn't a huge volume puncher himself.

I don't know if Bute being patient and picking his spots is going to be healthy against a non-stop pressure fighter. You have to really work to keep Glen off of you.

I think he's far more precise. Pure power, I don't agree.

Yeah, but bute is at least as busy as froch, but with more accuracy
and hurtful results(especially to the body) and we saw how that turned
    out for glen.

    You yellow streaked *****

I give Johnson a chance, not saying he'll win, but it wouldn't shock me though

Anyone know the ring size for this fight?

The ring against Froch was one of the biggest I've ever seen, the Showtime team commented on that as well
