Nonito Donaire is ONE DIMENSIONAL

Orthodox and not awkward (in the Darchinyan/Witter/Vitali sense) = one-dimensional? :?

I can't see any other plausible rationale here...and that one is REALLY dumb.

 

It's true, but Nonito's improving. And Rigo is lacking some dimensions as well. They are quite similar actually. What's for sure is they are great at the dimensions they do possess. This would be my favorite fight in boxing after Pac-PBF. Such a chess match

i dont think the key to Narvaez's survival was his footwork per se....
and ironically Rigondeaux didnt even touch it, or maybe he purposefully omitted it....

the Narvaez conundrum proved that Donaire is a linear/straight line puncher. He just kept a high guard and Donaire obliged by keeping on high straight punches that were absorbed. Mebbe his trainers said he'd wear down his guard/arms - well, that didnt work.

The fact is, Donaire failed to attempt rolling or slipping to an angle and hooking around the guard. Does he know how to step to the side or anything? Whatever the case, if plan A offense fails to produce, dont a diversified fighter have a Plan B, and even a Plan C offensive dimension? He failed to produce a Plan B....

 

Yeah, that one dimension is AWEOMENESS!!! I just can't see how anyone can Hate one Nonito. Pacquiao gives you alot of reasons to "shake your head". The picking of weak opposition ready made for his style, the catchweights, the obvious flaws in style...etc. But Nonito is an impeccable fighter with a LARGE skillset in the ring. Once he goes up in weight....INSTANT STARDOM!

lol. nonitor is more skilled than pac even the current version of pac.

 

i would say, the right word is, scouted. nonito was scouted really well. and that nonito was hellbent on putting a good show by knocking narvaez out with one punch. unfortunately, narvaez was also hell bent doing the opposit.e

 

If I was Rigo, I'd be doing less talking and more fighting 4-5 times a year, he's got his own development to bother about.

I like how he say's there's different styles in every fight and that his style wasn't the best match for Cordoba, then he say's Navarez showed us Donaire's one dimensional.
