Actually, I'd simply like to see Bute finally act like a fighter, and fight.
He could have chosen to fight one of the up and coming young lions, but instead, he choose an aging journeyman, Johnson.

Don't blame me for pointing out the obvious. These are all Bute and his management's decisions.
I'm just a fan who expects to receive the most bang for my hard earned buck. :yep

I don't buy into this Bute wasn't invited to the S6 lame excuse. Bute seems to more excuses than any other fighter I've seen.

Johnson wasn't invited either, yet he found a way in. Even Allan Green got into the tournament. Why? Because they wanted to be there.
No way that IF Bute really wanted in, he could have achieved that goal.

Instead, what I think really happened is Bute's management feared the risk and convinced their fighter to just allow the S6 contenders to fight it out with each other and let Bute sit out and wait for the outcome as the easiest way for them to earn the most amount of money with the least risk. :yep
Otherwise, while waiting all this time, Bute could have been staying busy cleaning out the division of those others not in the tournament like, Stieglitz, Quillan, Pavlik, that S.A. dude Osthuzen, etc.

the only reason he did not join after start was so he can shut up people like you regarding the first andrade fight, and secondly any other fighter than kesller and pavliik (they refused) would shut u up, so dont give me these other names, the fighters bute faced wile the s6 went on are better than the list u gave. you forgot he had mandetory fights as well. come up with somthing better.

    Fuk Andrade!
Bute would have been 100x more impressive by winning the S6. To think otherwise and speak about a second fight with Andrade being more impressive is just Psycho talk. :yep

Showtim already said they didn't invite him because it was too complicated to have too much promotors.

Johnson is looking great, ripped to the bone, better than he has ever looked in his lightweight days.

    Wrong.
If Bute stepped up and faced an acknowledged elite and won, I'd be the first to give him his props and maybe even become a fan.
Unfortunately, following this Johnson fight, we will likely not have any more information about Bute's real capability than we had before.

If bute were playing Basketball, he's the type of player to score two points, than stand still or tribbling around in circles while holding the ball until the clock expires. At this point in time, I place Pavlik above Bute as acting more like a fighter. :yep

Both guys look ripped and ready. Tonight will be the first time I ever rooted against Lucian Bute. I won't be the least bit upset if Bute wins. I'm a big fan of his, but there is something about Glen Johnson that makes it impossible for me to root against him.

What I expect, and what I'm hoping for are two different things. I'm hoping for The Road Warrior to win one more big fight before Father Time forces him into retirement, but I actually expect Bute to be the first to stop Glencoffe since his middleweight days.

LOL, who is Andrade? A nobody, is who.

If Bute had joined and won the S6, we wouldn't be having this discussion now. He would have proven his abilities by defeating the top tier of SMWs in the world. His status would be undeniable. At that point, he would have the luxury of rematching Andrade at his leisure and no one would care.

Passing up the S6 to rematch Andrade is equivalent to stooping down on the street to pick up a penny after walking past a 1 Oz Gold Panda coin. Doesn't make sense.

In the next twelve months, beginning this evening, we'll all know a hell of a lot more about Bute.

I am betting by this time next year, he's universally recognized as one of the top 1-2 SMW in the world.
