I agree DeGale is more skilled, but he need's a new trainer to bring it out in him. Why would Groves be on The Ultimate Fighter? That's UFC and this is Boxing? Groves' problem is that all the SMW World Title Holder's around atm' are good fighter's, Groves will probably win a World Title at some point in his career if guided and directed right by He who shall not be named. Far more than Smith has ever achieved. Anyhow, i've found myself dissing Paul Smith here, when tbh' i don't mind him but let's be real, Groves will beat Smith pretty soundly tonight

u know he show im mean stop playin dumb. look i respect ur opinion but i think ur puttin groves in a higher bracket than he deserves. hes only fought 3rd tier fighters an was still made to loom average. same with smith, looks grim against anybody with a decent defence but if groves attacks he goes asleep. if he back peddles like agains degale he may get a ud but his stock will stay the same. i.e saturday night fights on ss1
Some people do overrated Groves, but some people underrate him. I agree, i think the fight against Smith is pointless and he should of fought someone else, but he'll beat Smith pretty comfortably in my opinion

Paul Smith is I would say a British level fighter, whilst Groves and DeGale are around fighting for the same titles he hasnt got much of a chance. He will need to go backwards before forwards again and I doubt will get past a British title which is still a decent accomplishment, but he isnt good enough to go further.
At the end of the first SMIGGA caught Groves with a really nice right/left and although stunned for a second Groves didn't go down. BUT as I recall Kenny Anderson DID drop Groves in the first when he fought him!! GASP ... does this mean that Anderson actually hits harder than 'Hit the floor/Legs twitching/Paramedics called' SMIGGA?? (While on the subject of fearsome punching Liverpudlian fighters I'm equally confused that 'Smashing Machine/I knows I 'it 'ard/I only 'ave to touch people an I 'urt 'em' Bellew has had to go the distance in three of his last four fights)
