Mayweather vs. De La Hoya wasn't two stars against each other, it was one excellent fighter and a star. Mayweather's biggest PPV numbers before that fight were 350k or something.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are two superstars. Oscar vs. Mayweather, back then, only had one.
