Is Floyd booking the MGM just another method of ducking by dictating time and place?

he could have waited, fought him after, negotiated through the media like he is doing now before pacs fight or take that vacation he was so eager to take when pacs dance card became open.

Yet when people turn down fights with Mayweather because they aren't ready, want to get there teeth fixed, rather fight a bum instead, or can't blood testing within 30 days its accepted. But as soon as they claim there ready Mayweather has to jump to fight them or he is ducking. Mayweather has offered fights with Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Pac and more. Each one of them turned down the fight or allowed there promoter to turn down the fight for what ever reason.

You say your able to think like a free man yet you would be cool with Arum turning down this fight because he is butt hurt that Mayweather chose the date and venue already even though they are both ideal time and place. You care more about Arum's opinion on it then if its actually a good date and venue.

Mayweather wants to fight on Cinco de mayo in the MGM Grand, if the date and venue is cool with Pac then they can fight. If not then no fight. And the reaction that Pac and Arum get for turning it down will be based on there reasoning for turning it down. If they have a legit reason then so be it. If they only want to turn it down because Mayweather picked it before negotiation then that's some ***** ass ****.

I don't remember many people making light of the Mosely fight BEFORE it happened. Afterwards Mosely was shot.

 did you guys forget this

Franklin Gacal, Pacquiao’s lawyer, noted: “There’s no other place to hold it than Vegas. With all the casinos and the high-rollers coming over, it’s just hard to match. Nasa Vegas ang pera (The money is in Vegas).”

If it stopped there, then no. But given Floyd's history I'm afraid it won't end there. Look for him not to leave well enough alone and start saying things like, "All roads lead to me. This is take it or leave it. This fight will be on MY terms." , etc. You get the picture. Before someone talks about the deadline, that was real. Manny couldn't wait forever to book a fight with Mayweather, especially when it was clear it wasn't going to happen.
