Is Floyd booking the MGM just another method of ducking by dictating time and place?

i agree. arum should not turn down the fight because floyd has the venue without consulting team pac. if this is the only reason it doesnt get made then i would place the blame on arums ego. however, i am willing to bet my membership here that floyds camp finds some way to sabotage the negotiations and no fight on may 5th.
i am also aware that it was not always floyds fault that fights didnt get made but i sure as hell know that it wasnt the other guys fault every single time, especially when it would have been their biggest paycheck ever. how many of the *****s here have shown the balls to admit that floyd is also at fault? and im suppose to take these clowns arguments as serious? they are just here to suck dick not discuss boxing.

Ducking wasn't the best word for the title but I was running out of space and impediment wouldn't fit. Like I said earlier, the more either camp says in public BEFORE signing, the less chance of this fight happening. I think they both know this. Both are egomaniacs and will only bend so far. Even for $50 mil. Must be nice to have those kind of principles. Myself, I can't afford any. :D

CoDer doesn't take into account "the actual events happening"...he just says "oh its Floyd so Im gonna go against it" or "oh its Pac so I'll take it"

As long as its Floyd, Coder don't like it...in other words, he just a hater and wont look at real facts..just fake ones that make his story look good (at least in his own mind)

Didn't they lay out a time line to wind down Pac's career. Arum hasn't said anything about this specific date being a problem as of yet. Six months turn around seems OK based on Pac's former fights. Will his congressional duties line up?

What gives you the impression that Team Mayweather would do something to sabotage the fight? They are the only ones who have actually agreed to ****ing fight in the past. Its time for Team Pacquiao to step up.

May 5th is perfect IMO. Floyd & PAC will break the all time record on the same day. It Cino De Mayo and who are bigger boxing fans than Mexicans. Perfect date and time to me.

are you frickin serious? i just outlined floyds history and how "certain posters" only hear what floyd tells em and you ask me this like floyds word, or ellerbes for that matter, has any form of reliability. what puzzles me is that i know many of you can see the bull**** but you would rather put some frosting on it and call it a cake.

Oh I get it now. Floyd has a history of ducking Top Rank fighters who Arum actually said Floyd would have fought but Arum didn't want to pay him what he wanted. Is that the history you talking about?

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

Of course you would because you are more likely to side with any route Pac's camp decides to take over Mayweather, then claim Mayweather is ducking.

You say Mayweather will sabotage the negotiation because he has done so in the past. So please explain the unreasonable demands Mayweather has made to ******'t that accusation?

Arum is mad, cause Floyd is telling everyone that Pac-Marquez III is FIXED, by reserving May 5, 2012 for Floyd to fight Pac.

Void asked for Manny to do additional testing that will weaken him and void knows that Manny is scared of needles, blood, he big and Manny small, and the day before the fight is too close but Manny can't do it 14 days either bc he in heavy training. These *******s know in their hearts that Manny and his team are full of ****.

lol, yea but the problem with that is they supposedly agreed to it today. So if its not a problem today then it should have never been a problem in the first place.

    :yep

Not to mention, for any of that Pac fan point of view to even have a leg to stand on, one would HAVE to believe Floyd KNEW up front that Manny would deny the tests.
