    He wanted it big time and when a guy puts in so much and gives it his all you have to feel for him when he gets caught like that.Groves looked at least 1 division up in weight and it told when he landed.Smith so wanted to carry on and I was gutted for him.Hope he dont retire cos the game needs guys like him.He must have known this might happen but took the fight.Hats off to him hopoe he comes back!

    It is a pity he got caught so early with that great shot from Groves as I expected him to give Groves a good test and he did well in the opening round.

    I would like to hear his post fight interview before I show him any respect, going by past experience it will be everyone elses fault he got stopped exept himself. I want to hear him say he is not good enough or wasn't good enough.

    what do you see smith doing now, he is 29 now not good enough to compete with the best in britain never mind europe, curtains me thinks

    A force in what respect? Murray,Macklin,Barker are way too good for him. BJS will be too good for him within 12 months, he is just not that good.

    I don't hate many boxers but Smith has always come across a bit ****ish. Never willing to give anyone credit and doesn't take criticism well.

    for ****s sake put it away. smith being quality and all this ****, he had a go in his career fought mostly journeyman, he fought to potentially future world champs in groves and degale and got beat twice comfortably, he hasnt proved anything except he talks a great fight and isnt as good as he thinks

    He didnt look a weight up dont make excuses thats the best condition smith has been in since i have seen the bloke box... FACT.
