I don't see my posts about George tonight as not giving props at all, I remember writing a apology type post when i got back in hearing news he won against JDG. I just try to look at it straight down the middle mate. I feel he creates problems for himself and looks vulnerable. Even Richie said that in analysis although he's not best bloke to hide behind at the mo .

I don't like Groves as a man, as a fighter i respect him and i'm honest enough to admit he proved me wrong. I was wrong on DeGale but i'm entitled to get excited to see a young fighter coming through who fights differently to many others on these shores. He hasn't developed the way i thought but tbh we all get it wrong.

Groves has great heart and will be in some cracking fights but i just don't see him going to world class level and that sadly goes for DeGale as well. As for your last statement that wouldn't of come from me. I'd not DeGale near Groves after his last display he looked shaky as ****..

No need to bother for this one. Boxnation have got it scheduled till half 4, and even if both live fights go 12 rounds it'll be over by 3.30

It's a fckin joke! About a minute or so out, and it's not even being called live from the arena, the atmosphere will sound shite for the Bute fight :(

Should just go with the US commentary for the fights from over the pond.

Oh FFS, now they've turned off the noise from the arena, now we've just got the 2 commentators, **** poor.

I agree, Sadly the James that goes and spars likes of Kirk Garvey to help them on a Saturday afternoon in Wandsworth and the money he gave Dale Youth gets forgotten. Some of it choice of hearing but at times overshadowed by his stupidity.

But the thing is he cant learn because he doesn't wanna leave his comfort zone. He needs to be taught the basic's in learning how to punch with the weaker arm and needs to tighten his guard. he needs to learn how to set up his work on the front foot like dominating the walk forward with a hard ramrod jab followed by the straight right. He merely ducks his head and lobs that left slap and hopes he lands. it just don't cut the mustard for all the hype.

Absolute truth be told Sutherland would of took the lads soul should they have met in the pro's, that kid was the real ****ing deal man, gutted he is no longer with us. Sutherland had all the basic's and a style that worked well in ams and pro ranks where as Degale is a am-style fighter who is doing his best which isn't quite good enough.

Madanda, I think the Groves fight was too short tonight to say he had a leaky defence, even with Smith catching him at the end of the first round.

For me he looked keyed-up/uptight, he needed to relax a bit and that is exactly what he did in Round 2.

    Credit where credit is due.

Just out of interest what don't you like about Groves as a man? Seems a nice, humble kid with a good attitude.

I used to think Degale was awesome, always preferred Groves as a person, but fell for the degale hype after his performance against smith. Since the groves fight and in particular the pole his shortcomings have been exposed, and I honestly believe he has more flaws that groves. Groves isn't perfect don't get me wrong, I agree his defence still isn't perfect but it is better...his problem is he tends to go for shots too early on that aren't on and leaves himself open, like the dark lord said.

I think he'll go further than Degale though at this moment in time, he's improving, unlike Degale right now.
