I know mate and you are right. I am just saying he would of fought till longer cos of the late start, common sense really. he hit better with his weaker hand than Degale does that's for ****ing sure.

Sal Sanchez would of been best Mexican of all time had he fought on, but as you say he didn't and isn't. JMM is that man for me followed by Chavez.

Duke and his co-commentator appear to be having a competition to see who can spout the most clichés... I was happy that McKenzie wasn't in the studio this week, until I realised he was commentating...

I think Kat was fine, he just didn't have what it takes technically to break down Burns. He had plenty of opportunity, Burns was a stationary target at least a few times each round and Kat never took advantage. Too predictable, and as jpab says, it was old weaknesses that haunted him.

I hit better with my weaker hand than DeGale and if I couldn't I'd fight back to front and lead with my good hand!!

froch did well after a lateish start in the pros so I suppose its possible and Sutherland did look decent in his pro outings but he still had it all to do at that age.

My original point is that he was more suited to the pro ranks than degale. He has more power and is the type of kid who looked to better himself i.e being out his comfort zone, he even moved country to train and ply his trade whereas degale is a homebird and wont leave his trainer even though it's widely regarded that he has peaked already and wont better under mcdonnell.
