Round 5 Looks like Johnson's strategy is paying off. It seems to me is his gameplan is to use the jab, since he has the reach adv. and make Bute reach inside and counter him with rights so he walks into and and takes less damage than having to go to him and take damage. Johnson landed the right to the head and the body. His round. 1: 10 - 9 Johnson 2: 10 - 9 Bute 3: 10 - 9 Johnson 4: 10 - 9 Johnson 5: 10 - 9 Johnson
Round 6 Johnson jabs, landing a bit. Bute is staying about a pace away, leaning back and throwing right jabs. Johnson is throwing three or four left jabs to every one right jab from Bute. Double left hand lead by Bute, knocking on Johnson's front door but mostly caught on the upheld palms in front of Johnson's face. Bute circles close to his right, throwing a right jab here and there but mostly left hand leads...especially the doubled up version. Right hook up close by Bute. Left uppercut by Bute!! Johnson jabs and backs up. Bute tosses up a right jab into the guard. Hard left hand lead into the gloves by Bute. Hard right hand lead by Johnson, gets parried by Bute's right glove. Johnson ducks a left hand lead as they circle together. Right hook by Bute, lands behind the ear. High 1-2 by Johnson, ducked. Double jab by Johnson misses. Bute ducks and swirls his upper body around in the pocket, slipping jabs but getting caught with a couple. Straight left lead by Bute. 10-9 Bute 59-55 Bute
