i dont think you understood the point of my post:

also, to add fuel to the fire:
    1. de hoya-floyd, hatton-flloyd: 2.4m & 950k = very long ass vacation.
    2. marquez-floyd: 1m = long ass vacation
    3. mosley-floyd: 1.4m = long ass vacation
    4. ortiz-floyd: 1.25m, $78.4m = very short vacation
    did i miss something?

i am saying after fights with good ppv buys/revenue, he takes long ass vacations.

here, after earning the supposed 2nd biggest non-heavy fight in boxing history, AFTER 2 MONTHS, HE IS OUT THERE WORKING/PROMOTING HIS NEXT FIGHT. like he is working overtime.

this isnt floydishque, unless floyd-ortiz was actually 690k, or worse 500k. hahahah.

edit:i did a bit of googling: pac-clottey ppv, accdg to dan r. (article dated march 23, 10days after the fight):

"Manny Pacquiao's lopsided unanimous decision against Joshua Clottey generated 700,000 pay-per-view buys and $35.3 million in domestic television revenue, HBO PPV's Mark Taffet said Tuesday."

why is hbo hiding floyd-ortiz ppv?

    Here's what's in the article:

HBO’s Mark Taffet officially announced 2.15 million for the Oscar/Mayweather fight, the 1 million for the Marquez/Mayweather fight, and he also happily announced the 850K sold for the Hatton/Mayweather fight. Article link: Mayweather-Hatton pay-per-view a smashing success. So why is HBO not jumping up and down attaching their name to the 1.25 million for the Mayweather/Ortiz fight? Because HBO is a publicly held company. You do the math, folks! Even Stevie Wonder can connect the dots here.

I swear, some people just don't have any reading comprehension.

The intention of the author in using that title is that the figure 690K was pulled out of thin air in the same manner as the 1.25M that was announced by GBP and Mayweather Promotions. The premise of the article is that history has shown that HBO makes the official announcement of PPV buys when there is something to crow about and keeps silent when the result is dismal.

Does anyone know when the official numbers for Pacquiao-Mosley will be released?

Showtime has yet to release them.:deal

Its no different with GBP or Arum. If it does'nt paint their fighter in the light they want, they'll ask HBO or Showtime not to comment on the official numbers.
