Thats about it, id love to see him and Lovemore go at it. Probably be one of the most entertaining fights i can think off at the moment , Lovvemore may be a bit better technicly , if he's still got it that is .
Burns beat him well and as said, it was with basic boxing. The alarming bit for Kats should be that when he got Ricky on the ropes he could not open him up at all. Ricky just watched and Kats telegraphed every shot. Kats looked to me like he had lost pace, power and variety. Burns is decent but not fantastic, just a nice jab and tall and rangy. As for the undercard someone mentioned 2 fighters having lost 73 fights, that was a tv error showing the same record twice. It was a reasonable match for a 2 fight novice with little amateur experience boxing a weight up.
Didn't see the fight, but if a bloke like Burns can easily beat Kats id say hang them up Mick.......... watched a few of burns fights in the last few days and honestly this bloke is not in top class echelon of fighters at 130lbs - 135lbs. Mick it's over.
c,mon mate Sid Razak. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=33616 Robinson is padding his record. Didn't know about the same record being put up. As it turned out the black guy who they said had the same record as Razak got KTFO round 1. Pathetic Undercard. Makes Mundines pathetic UC's look magnificent.
I was impressed with his fight against Roman Martinez the only fight I checked out of his. Burns is a good boxer even though he's a bit featherfisted. Kats apparently tried to get a fight with Miguel Vasquez would of been the same result. Unfortunately it may well be over but maybe a few fights at 140 may be an option.
