Or maybe it's just because Glen Johnson is 42 and completely war-torn and past his prime.

Glen is the same age Wladimir Vysotsky was when he died!

    - Johnson went from being able to give Froch a life and death fight to 4 months later being completely shot, thats reasonable thinking  :rofl

    - Wladimir Vysotsky, never heard of any kraut homo by that name.

On resumes, Froch's is clearly the best, Ward and Bute are similar level thus far. Regardless of whoever wins the S6 though, they wouldn't have beaten the longest reigning current champ, who is considered to be elite in the division and who performed as well or better against common opponents. They can call themselves the S6 winner, but to truly proclaim themselves the best in the division with any meaning, they would have to beat Bute. He had more right than any to have been in the tournament.

he had more life in him against froch,is this what you want to hear? well he had, maybe because froch isn't that good and he had more room to express himself.

Jonhson look better agains't Froch fore sure because Froch his easier to hit and isn't as precise then Bute. The opponents have a lot to say while rating a performance so Bute beat him easier then i rate GJ performance agains't him lower then agains't Froch

I had to respond to this BULL****...

WHO are your top 6 then, considering you dont count Bute as one of them? I would like to see your reasoning and proof how there's 6 others rated higher than him... 2 is believable and thats it.

Didn't he fight ONE of the top 6 SMW in just his last fight, or you dont count Carl Froch as one of the top 6? What was the results? A Majority Decision (114-114/112-116/111-117). Looked to be a fairly competitive fight according to the professional judges. This DOES NOT constitute a wide Unanimous Decision by anyone's reasoning abilities..... except by a *****-ass hater.

So, Johnson pulls a majority loss vs Froch.... and you're saying at least 4 others would blow him out of the water? In my book, i have Froch at #3. IMO, there could be one other person who would out-perform Froch, that would be Ward. I have him at #2. It would be a competitive fight too, but a comfortable UD, but not a shut-out.

Here's the judge scores of Glen Johnson's Losses in Title fights....

    Lucian Bute: 108-120 / 108-120 / 109-119

    Carl Froch: 114-114 / 112-116 / 111-117

    Tavoris Cloud: 112-116 / 112-116 / 112-116

    Chad Dawson: 113-115 / 113-115 / 111-117

    Chad Dawson: 112-116 / 112-116 / 112-116

    Clinton Woods: 114-112 / 112-116 / 112-115

    Antonio Tarver: 113-115 / 112-116 / 112-116

Tell me, who is one person, let alone 2 you claim, who have beat Glen Johnson by a wide margin (besides Bute?)......

YOU HAVE BEEN DEBUNKED AND YOUR OPINION IS INVALIDATED BY INACCURATE INFORMATION.

Expect nothing less from a *****-ass hater...

Ward's and Bute's resume are very similar I agree. The only difference being Ward beating Kessler. I think Bute needs a fight with either Kessler, Froch or Ward and win it if he should have the the right to call himself the best 168. Bute should have been in the S6 trny no doubt, but since he didn't participate he/we will have to wait before knowing if he is the best SMW'er.

    Ward - Bika < Bute - Bika
    Froch - Johnson < Bute - Johnson
    Kessler - Andrade > Bute - Andrade 1

I hope we can agree on this:think

    I agree but you forgot

Bute vs Miranda > Ward vs Miranda

The Mcgee fights i'd probably discount due to the 5+ year gap between them.
