Bute is one helluva fighter man. I gave Johnson the 4th and 5th round. Johnson gameplan seemed to just stick Bute to the body and pick it up in the later rounds. He didnt look to survive either, still trying to win n hope those body shots payed off and stuck to the gameplan .

What impressed me the most was Butes head movement and stamina. His power is freakish and he has tremendous heart and crowd pleasing style.

I predict Ward to win vs Froch. Will be some good rounds for Froch of course but i predict a clear victory for Ward. Will be an ugly fight.

Ward vs Bute is a toss up i think. I might be buzzing a bit off of Bute but he is just scary man. Power x2 head movement, defense and great stamina. Ward makes every fight his fight and can work inside and out. His only advantage may be his ring iq and confidence. Cant make a prediction on it yet but you can guess who im leaning towards at the moment

Last thing is Bute vs Froch would be a fighter of the year type fight. Even if Froch loses to Ward him and Bute still gotta get it on.

Bute seems a bit too hittable for me to pick him over Ward, who I really think is a supreme talent. I'd like to see Lucian get Kessler next, great fight that.

I really hope Bute fights next Kessler,Ward or Froch no matter who the winner and who the loser of the S6. Those are the only guys who he'll get credibility against. He's that good even for haters.
Ward Bute is an enigma for me. Bute beats Froch and Kessler imho. Here some of my thoughts for the first 1:

He would def beat Froch and Kessler. Its possible Bute outworks Ward and takes it via a decision. Bute vs any of these guys will give us an exciting fight. He is trouble

Ward beats Bute in a snore fest.

Bute beats Froch in a FOY caliber fight.

I think Bute is hittable and his chin isnt Great, not saying it's bad, but I still believe he has getting KTFO in him. I think Froch beats him, I think he would do better against Ward but would call it "pick em, yet I think Ward gets over on Froch close but comfortable. Froch eats Butes shots and tests his chin...which I think ends up failing him late.

Ward beats Bute by Mid fight TKO

    Froch beats Bute by UD/SD

Dirrell embarrasses Bute and gets UD

Bute beats Kessler by competitive SD

You make some good points here. I too think Bute is VERY good.

I think Bute beats Kessler and Froch easily.

I think Bute v Ward would be a toss up. Andre Ward might be able to out will him and eek out a decision.

Andre Dirrell MIGHT be able to outbox him, but I don't know... Bute is awfully quick too and he probably hits harder than Dirrell.

All of them would be good fights though. Bring them on.

Seems very hittable, but hasn't really been tested yet. Johnson actually manage to connect with jabs and double jabs when he began to go to the left....Kessler, Ward and Froch can all jab and has longer reach than Johnson......

Bute looks good but how will he do under pressure from a very skilled fighter (not Andrade)...??

Hopefully some great fights coming up in 2012....:bbb

hmmmm, fights too close to call.... ive got Bute at #1 and Ward at #2
i think both have the capabilities to nearly dominate everyone...

I give the edge to Bute. He's just as fast, a little more accurate, has better timing, and brings in power. Ward would have to stay in real close and abuse Bute there, since he's got no inside game. The only thing he has is a timed uppercut that catches fighters coming in. But he's got great footwork to maintain optimal hitting distance most of the time...

there's a real reason why Ward wasnt anticipating in fighting Bute after the Super6 finale.... there's a real reason he'd rather have Bute fight someone else first.... there's a real reason why Ward rather do a Kessler rematch. For the first time, Ward wasnt his confident self when asked about fighting Bute next, in an interview...
