why are'nt wales any good at rugby league

They have only just formed really and most of their team isnt welsh either and theyre playing teams who have played for over 100 years.they wont be competitive for some time I should imagine

 

has aus been playing for 100 yrs?

 

Im not sure mate its a hell of a lot longer than wales id say.i dont class league as a sport anyway

 

isnt wales as a country older then aus?
surely with that much time behind them they should of been able to develop greater then us new boys.

well unfortunately madman league is a sport. if only it wasnt then wales would have something to shout about.

wat bout the english if only they had half the skills of us ausy in league they'd b twice as good as they are. wouldnt u agree madman?

 

We have never really had a national side worth speaking of basically because no one here knows how to play the sport , pre union going pro we used to have a few players that could hold their own in the sport but that was due to the fact that they were enticed to the North of England by cash in the proffesional code , now union is pro there really ain't any need to play league at all . No great shakes we just concentrate on playing union and getting pipped at the post by countries that out weight us by 20-1 population wise like Australia , BTW Great thread would read again . :good

I rest the point Perko , here we have a fellow Taff in Bryn Bach who didn't even know our tiny country had the fourth best side in the world , In fact i would go as far as to say being fourth in the two sports indicated we are in fact doing ****ing great and punching well above our weight .:good
