Now that the Kessler fight with Steiglitz has been pushed back to next year, I think that opens the direct fight between Bute-Ward probably in April. Unless both guys hold out to serve out their Showtime obligation and take their fight over to HBO for more money.

Ward had big problems the first 4 rounds against Abraham, because of his jab after 4 rounds Abraham didnt jab anymore i suspect because of a bodyshot landed by Ward.I dont think Ward would go past Bute's jab maybe a few times but enough to be significant. Ward wont have problems against Froch's jab because its slow and predictable but he wont be able to get past Bute's.

Yet, as you and I (previously) have pointed out, this same Johnson gave Froch-- generally considered the second best SMW (behind Ward) here at ESB-- a hell of a good fight. They are full of ****, period.
