Ward can only draw 4000 in his hometown. Where is this fanbase you speak of?

Froch drew around 7500 vs Dirrell in his hometown and UK media has essentially blacked out their best fighter while feeding Brits horse**** fighters like Chisora etc. He has no profile in the UK.

Bute draws over 16,000 every fight but has said he will fight in Vegas or New York

Bute already beat Bika, rather easily.

You really rate beating Abraham highly? Being able to look back in retrospect AA was untested at SMW entering the tournament and was proven to be very one dimensional.

I would definitely rate Bute's wins over Berrio and Andrade better than a AA win and his wins over Mcgee and Zungia on par.

Got a link? Never read that.

    Yes you are :

    Bute Thrown 678 Landed 306
    Johnson Thrown 572 Landed 128
Accuracy is the reason Bute 46%
    Johnson 20%

    Jonhson Thrown 546 Landed 219.
    Froch Thrown 672 Landed 274.

I think he's talking about Froch's trunks when he got a MD against Johhnson... Bute's black and white trunk weren't all abut fashion :-(

Jonhson was scared of the KO agains't Bute but went all in agains't Froch because he knew Froch couldn't hurt him. Yes Froch-Jonhson was more exting because they are both at the same level ;)

Right because Johnson and Ward have identical boxing styles and are of the same age :patsch:patsch

Ward is the real deal. Nobody is slapping the **** out of him. Wards best attribute is his iq. He takes away your strengths and always fights his fight. Bute has more power and better movement to beat Ward but we have yet to see if Bute can handle adversity and make some midgame adjustments. Too early for me to call it

One of the best Bute quality and one of the most underated one is his ring IQ , the guy think in the ring and listen to everything his corner tell him. I don't think it's a big advantage for Ward if it is one

Well other than a possible reach advantage. Wards ability to take your strengths away and outbox you to me takes a higher iq than a guy like Bute who invites you in and relies on his reflexes(countering ability) and power

Dirrell would beat the dog **** out of Bute, flame away, but he has NOTHING for Andre. I would favor Ward and Froch as well.

Why? How do you think Ward would approach the fight tactically?

I get the impression that Bute's power is for real from the way Johnson fought. He did not want to engage.

I think Bute - Ward would be a highly technical, cagey affair. I think it's a hard one to call at this point.

Bute can do that you know , Jonhson best weapon is his right hand and yesterday he couldn't throw any because of the way Bute was moving and the fear he had of Bute body shots.

Anyway Ward/Bute is 50/50 for me
