Think of it this way. If the 154lb division has any world class fighters, then Angulo is one of them.

'World class' doesn't equal 'great', or 'HOFer', or 'ATG' or anything like that.

Yep. If my car didn't have wheels, I wouldn't be driving.

no, he he is easy to hit and has a poor chin, this alone is enough to see him stopped everytime he steps up to championship level. I do like him but i think he is just below world level.

a bout with jcc jnr would be interesting though

Where does that leave Ishida? I understand that if you beat a top ranking fighter, you should get his ranking or be moved up to the top.

Too early to tell. We'll see if he can progress. Remember Jeff Lacy

When I was a teen, I drove my car with no wheels. I was lucky the tow truck guy let me stay in my car for the ride. You know what I mean. If Angulo did not blow his wad, he should have taken care of business. As a top pro, he should know that a hurt fighter is a dangerous fighter. Let them do it again. We win if they rematch.

He can be a champ although i don't see him beating Cotto or trout and would be better fighting Alvarez. But yes his world class

if he really focused on upperbody movement and tighten up his punches by throwing crisper, shorter combinations then skys the limit for him. his relentlesness, high workrate and power can give fits to just about anyone in his weight class. but if he wants to make it far then he's gotta work on D

what the hell are you talkin about? he took the best punches from someone who is arguably the divisions heaviest hitter and STOPPED him at his own game on top of that. Who do you think hits harder than angulo at 154? serious question.:huh

I guess you could say alvarez but if you really think about it apart from a shop worn baldomir he hasn't really stopped anyone of note.

No. He's not a World class fighter.

Kirkland was on Steroids for that fight.

Thats the same arena, where Nate Campbell used Steroids to beat Juan Diaz.

Cancun does not test for steroids.

People jump on bandwagons so easily.

Devon Alexander KO's Juan Urango with a great uppercut, BANG this forum was full of people rating him ahead of Khan and Bradley. He gets beat by Bradley and two gift decisions BANG he's a B level fighter who's boring.

Nonito Donaire KO's Montiel, BANG he shoots to number 2 or 3 on P4P lists, he has a worse night with Navarez, BANG he's one dimensional.

Kirkland is KO'd by a journeymans jab, BANG, ESB declares his a china fraud, he beats Angulo BANG, Kirkland is an ATG in the making.

    SEE THE TREND
