One my fav fighters ever! Definitely comparable to SRL abilty wise.

I'd have to rank him no less than in the top 30 of all time.

If he'd quit after Ruiz he would have to be somewhere in the top 10.

Saw this a couple weeks ago and showed it to most of my male family members, they're older than me and where able to appreciate the video more due to them seeing all these fights and stuff. Im only 18 so and my first RJ fight was actually the first lose to Tarver lol. Everybody in my house said that Jones would win so I bet My oldest brother 50 bucks he would lose. That's fight spark my interest in Boxing lol. Damn just thought back and my brother never paid me smh.

Sad to see him go that way he could have been remembered as an ATG but he ruined it by not retiring when he had to.After first Tarver fight he was already 35.

Was watching this this video and noticed roy jones saying he had to sweat 25 pounds of muscle for the tarver fight!

Is it possible to gain 25 pounds of muscle naturally in a 6 month span? That was the length of time between the woods and ruiz fight.

    Just wondering!!

Im thinking definitely for the ruiz fight. Got some info about gaining muscle and apparently it takes between 2 to 3 years to gain 25 pounds of muscle! Jones was shredded at 200 pounds for ruiz! so it makes me wonder if he juiced up!

I do remember he was on a serious regimine! eating and lifting like crazy. I do also remember reading he took androstene! 25Ibs. of muscle is alot though, he also had to gain some fat as well.
