Is Bute using loaded gloves?

I'm not a Bute hater, but I've never been very impressed by the guy.

I thought Bute looked pretty average against Johnson. Johnson was barely even there, and Bute couldn't hurt him.

Granted, he has a very pretty stance, and great movement. And at least he showed a willingness to engage, in the second half of the Johnson fight. (Well, sort of.) - but his punches are actually quite slow. It's a wonder he can knock anyone out. (Oh yeah, he has yet to knock out anyone really good.)

He reminds me a lot of Margarito. You watch the fight & say, where the heck is his power coming from?

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Bute was found to have been using loaded gloves. -That's the only explanation for Margo's "power."

Maybe that's why Bute refuses to fight outside his home turf? Think about it .....

 

Probably. He rolls it up, so no one realizes that he has no balls.

Lucian "No Balls" Bute. It kinda' has a ring to it.

Now go watch the end of Bute-Andrade II. Take a good look at Bute's final left hook (was it a hook, or did he simply raise his arm to wave at a fan?)

It was so slow, one would almost think Andrade took a dive.

I was born with common sense. If you don't have any, that's not my problem, is it?
