    Lots of credit to Kirkland - his heart was far stronger than his chin. Angulo got a pasting.

    However, the personal attacks on leading Chincheckers Zakman and Rico in this thread have been nothing short of disgraceful.

    Kirkland doesn't have a great chin, but he doesn't have a glass chin. The KO against Ishiada was due to Kirkland being suprised by the hand speed and accruacy of Ishiada. I saw Kirkland against Joel Julio who is a better puncher than Ishiada clobber Kirkland with hard thudding right hands and Kirkland was never badly hurt. And Angulo who is a better puncher than both dropped Kirkland, but couldn't take him out, and he was throwin some hard shots. I think Kirkland's chin is actually decent. I think he'll have a problem with anyone with speed and power(Sergio Martinez), but he can take shots from those slower thumping punchers.

    Yeah I saw that.. I think Kirkland found out a few things about himself last night.. Other fighters took notice too like the Boxing after Dark Cast said he is going to find it hard for anyone to get in the ring with him after last night..

    They aren't **** fans. They're just "don't know ****" fans. An extreme lack of knowledge of the sport is their only really great weakness. Except, I guess, for their lack of self awareness.

    Not knowing **** about boxing isn't as bad as not knowing that you don't know **** about boxing.

    JK cut weight quickly for the Ishida fight and was weakened..he doesn't have a glass chin...his defense is suspect and needs work.
