Kirkland a B level fighter? If thats the case then 154 is a B level division throughout, including Sergio.

after that first round, angulo had nothing left.

-angulo shouldn't have gotten up from the kd, he had nothing left, live to fight another day...

-ref should have stopped on numerous instances after the 2nd as angulo has rubbery legs, no power on his punches and was taking a lot of punishment. i bet the ref in the quillin-mc ewen fight would have stopped it.

-nacho should also have stopped it when he saw that angulo just isn't coming back.

Sergio does fight at 154 and 160, Why the **** you think he wants to fight May and Pac at 154. Ill bet you a dime to a dollor his ***** ass wont come down there for Kirkland. Stepup!!! He aint gotta stepup, hes already on that level. Hes about to step over them. I dont see no world class fighters at 154 or in Sergios case 160. As for that jackass comment, you can keep that **** to yourself cause I havent called you any names.:bbb:bbb:bbb

Kirkland absolutely dominated, and may as well in a rematch.. but...

Angulo was NOTHING after the 1st round. He punched himself out so bad, it's not even funny. **** stamina. However I feel that if he did not punch himself out Kirkland would have been up against much more then he was.. afterall he did get dropped by a fresh Angulo in the first round. I tend to think that this was so easy for Kirkland only by the fault of Angulo, not because Kirkland is just that good. So everybody don't go riding his dick too fast.

and P.S - RJJ, Max Kellerman, and Jim Lampley, at least as a group, are the WORST commentators of all time.

Lol.... I don't know who your eye doc is, but you need to find a new one...pronto! James did what he had to do. But it definitely helped that Angulo blew his load in the first 2 minutes of the fight.

However....one thing you might be right about is Angulo may never be the same after withstanding blow after blow from James. I think Angulo was the favorite for the right reasons..... But Angulo made a rookie mistake.

Props to James for making it out of the first round and applying the pressure necessary to prevent Alfredo from ever regaining his "wind".

I really believe that Angulo didn't make a mistake when he went for broke trying to close Kirkland out in the 1st. It seemed that Angulo KNEW he had to go for it then and there, because he might not get another chance. The better man won last night. Kirkland probably wins even more easily in a rematch. A tremendous psychological edge belongs to him in this match-up now.

Kirkland's kryptonite seems to be a boxer/puncher who possesses accurate counter punching ability.

Kirkland won't go any further if he doesn't tighten up his D. I'm amazed at all these young up and comers (Juanma, Canelo, Kirkland etc.) that have terrible D. What the hell are these trainers teaching these guys. Even as far back as Hatton. Hatton was on the cusp of true greatness but, his lack of D let him down.

some guys have it, some guys don't. some guys have a little bit, some guys are defensive wizards. that's always been the case

    :yep

I hope you'll be around to admit you were totally wrong, if by any chance Canelo does fight Kirkland and loses, without looking for excuses like 'Canelo wasn't that good after all'. :good
