Personally I'd like to see Katsidis retire but if he wants too carry on, it will have to be at 140 and against a relatively soft opponent just to get a measure of the weight and to see if he has still got it? I really don't want to see him ship any more punishment needlessly.

 

Katsidis might still beat Mitchell. Burns showed a better chin last night than Mitchell might have. I think Mitchell would outbox Katsidis but he could always get caught big and get stopped.

Probably the best fight out there for Michael money-wise if he does want to carry on.

I was about to say "that's a bit silly", for Mitchell to get right in line for a world title shot one mere domestic-level win after a KO loss...but then it occurred to me that the man he beat in that one win is also getting a world title shot against Rios straight off a stoppage loss. atsch

What should be happening is a Rios-Burns unification, with Katsidis fed Mitchell in a rematch to get himself re-ranked to challenge the winner. :good
