I really doubt he could do 135 now.

Plus he's a bit too good.

I'd love to see him fight Vasquez. Well, I'd love him to face the top dogs but being realistic thats unlikely after a good win.

Wouldn't mind if he fought somebody decent enough, Abril or Mitchell. Not asking for miracles but hopefully we don't go back to facing sub-par random uninspiring opponents.

If Derr beats rahimov he may get a shot? realistically, its gonna be Mitchell.

how about lundy who beat diaz or even diaz himself??...diaz always comes to fight and the fight would sell good up here in glasgow

Hopefully, since LW is a better division than SFW, we'll get a decent fight in between this and a Mitchell fight, then Ricky can go for whoever is left.

Oh, and to the poster above - Lundy is an excellent choice.

Think its safe to say there's a shortage of options, Mitchell up in Scotland is the only one that looks good on paper but also realistic. Would love it if he could Marquez to come over to Scotland/England and fight!!

cheers mate , diaz is a fav of mine as i like his style but i saw the knockout by lundy on espn

lundy vs burns would be a good test against a decent up and comiing fighter.

ps: id still like to see burns vs diaz or how about diaz vs katsidis

There's a couple of decent domestic scraps at 135 that could be made and billed as title fights such as Matthews, Rees and Mitchell if Frank wants to go down that route with him

Rees is a cracking fighter, but hes too midget armed to trouble Burns.
