I feels he didn't get hit, and thought he landed more.

He seems to have got a pass for it, but hey, it's Glenn Johnson how can you be mad at him. He's entitled to a bit of delusion.

    lol...

he cant be believing what he said.... he didnt even employ his normal style for pete's sake! I was hoping he would, to make it a competitive fight, but the gameplan was to make him a second-rate counter-puncher..... yeah, that did a load of good....

I was put off by it as well. A case can be made for about 10 of his Ls....as many as seven PURE outright ROBBERIES, but last night.....one of the 6 clear L's.

But yeah, I aint mad.....I'm happy he made the bell, wasn't hurt, and didn't look all that bad. He needs to get one of those Dirrel brothers in the ring, or BHOP for one last big MONEY NIGHT.
A nice million dollar retirement party.:deal

it happens a lot. Barkley was a guy who never would think he lost a fight. Which actually shows what heart they have. A guy who think he did not lose is probably a guy who puts his all out in fights.

Strange because Johnson basically admitted he lost to Froch and it was a closer fight.

A guy who admits he lost...probably ends up doubting his own ability

Bute won it hands down, but I can honestly see where Glenn Johnson might feel right after that he won.......

.......most of the rounds were uneventful, and like Johnson said, he was constantly pumping his jab (though uneffectively).

.....but I'm not with the consensus here that Bute turned in a great performance.

I thought Johnson wore down the stretch and Bute's best rounds came in the latter part of the fight.
Most if not all of the first 6 or so rounds of that fight were close rounds with a few being hard to score.

I threw my scorecard away, but I scored the first round even and I believe 2 rounds to Johnson.

......on the cards Bute won hands down, but the fight imo was a little bit more competitive than what the wide scores would leave you to think, which is why Johnson likely felt he won.

Cut this man some slack and remember he's the "Road Warrior."

I fig some one would say this so I copied this...

    Bute Thrown 678 Landed 306
    Johnson Thrown 572 Landed 128
Accuracy is the reason Bute 46%
    Johnson 20%

    Jonhson Thrown 546 Landed 219.
    Froch Thrown 672 Landed 274.

He didn't get hit that much, that is why his face was unblemished after the fight, and he did land significantly more upon video analysis. He is Glen Johnson though, an aging Jamaican warrior. Bute is a money machine up there in Canada, he has a huge following, and is white. Johnson could have KO'd Bute and still lost, just like Andrade did.

WTF???? that wasa shutout for Bute! At most you could give Johnson 2 rds and that's being very generous

According to who? Those punch stats are laughable. Video of the fight doesn't show Bute landing more than Johnson, and damn sure didn't show Bute landing 306 punches. I will post real punch stats in a few days.
