Lara: "Congratulations Kirkland, now PUT UP or SHUT UP!!"

For sure....James always is dangerous...no matter what. Especially in that first 12 to 16 minutes where he's going full tilt where he's punching through ****. But I think James needs a few more fights that progressively step his level of comp up. Canelo is definitely too soon on a couple levels....one...like you said, this could be BUILT up to be a MAJOR fight if they both continue to build their names by dominating and conintuing to win. And two...James needs a tad more polishing....it wasn't too long ago that he was released and suffered a defeat he probably never should have suffered. But the contrast between these two has the potential to create one hell of a fight and a very explosive promotion.

 

James's defense is improving as well, and he has a nice jab, I was wrong saying he is the exact same. He is adding some different **** to his arsenal, plus he is a two handed banger.

 

Kirkland vs Lara should be easy to put together. Two capable fighter, under the same GBP banner, with the burning desire to fight.

Lara has great technical skills, it would be nice to see him against Kirklands pressure.

I'd like to see a Kirkland/Ishida rematch. Ishida recently signed with Canelo promotions and will fight on the Canelo/Cintron undercard. I can see Canelo telling Kirkland to fight Ishida if he wants a title shot.

 

Title shot or revenge? Tough call.

 

Lara-Kirkland would be an awesome fight!

 

For some reason I would like to see Angulo vs Margarito. I know Angulo was on a off night last night just like Kirkland must have been when he fought Ishida. But I have always wanted to see Margarito vs Angulo.

As for Kirkland vs Lara....Bring it! Canelo will be protected and treated like a ***** by GBP while the rest of GBP's fighters are fighting each other.

 

The real Lara shows up every few fights. The real Lara showed up against Paul Williams. Kirkland doesn't have Williams's chin. Lara would be locked in on Kirkland's butter soft chin real early. Lara by KO. He is too tough defensively, and too precise on offense.

 

Lara did that to Williams. He won't to that to Kirkland.

 

Lara also took a lot of shots from Williams and Molina, do you think he would take the same shots from Kirkland?
