I was at that fight and Froch would of won that fight regardless of the location.

Dirrell fought like an amateur. Points fighter he was.

Well, its frustrating as hell how 'Ward is always at home' gets trotted out. It might be true, but that doesn't really have any meaning in itself. The question is what benefit has that been to Ward? The only benefit there has ever been is the same benefits every fighter thats ever fought at home has had. Motivation, alien environment for the opponent and so on. They're not really tangible benefits, like say picking up a hometown decision in a fight you'd be unlikely to get elsewhere.

I still don't see what this has to do with my original point of the irony of Ward saying that Froch has to be in control when he insisted of having all his (Tournament [added for clarity]) fights at home.

What do you think of his nose PK?

Are you going to pick him for the same emotional reasons you picked James Toney? 'Carl Froch is a real man, he'll walk through Ward etc'. Don't do it PK, don't do it.

Agree with Jpab. Froch has benefited more from his hometown fight than any of Ward's hometown fights.

Precisely what I've been saying for god knows how long. It's lazy, cliched, and tedious. Apparently beating Kessler at home isn't as good as losing to him away, apparently dominating every fight at home isn't as good as getting EXTREMELY lucky to win a fight at home as long as you've fought away from home a few times.

    Essentially, Ward's not English.

But his nose adds to aerodynamics.

Again I fail to see what this has to do with my original point.

Which incase you havent read between the lines is thus.........

Ward needs to feel in control.

You don't need a degree in psyco analasis to see that when Froch said something he didn't liked he overtalked him to gain control of the conversation. Whilst cleverly at the same time he accused Froch of doing the very thing that he was doing. He was telling Froch not to turn it into the Carl Froch show right at the same moment he was turning it into the Andre Ward SOG Show.

Couple this to a simple observation about how he has had all his fights at home, and I see a man that needs to feel in control.

    That educated enough for you?
