So what say you after witnessing Lucian Bute putting on one of the year's finest performances in a complete domination?

"Bute schooled a 42yo Johnson" surely to pop up, but didn't Froch struggle vs. the same 42yo Johnson? Didn't Clould barely get past a 41yo Johnson? Didn't Chad Dawson need 2 fights to better a close-40yo Johnson? All in all, Bute put on a quick, slick, powerful masterclass often going to brawl to excite some 25.000 paying fans pulling a Calzaghe-Lacy on the big stage - just let the hate go, maaan! Lucian Bute is great for boxing, and he's only reaching his prime, so good luck to the Super Six winner, because he'll need it.

Also, great fighting spirit by the Road Warrior, the man took some huge punches but never stopped trying, even if to little prevail. He's not done yet, he was just outclassed, no shame in that.

Will they still hate him when they'll see he's prepared to travel to fight Ward in Las Vegas or even Froch in England? You bet!:?

Good thing for us is that Bute is still getting better and more confident in the ring. As you say, he's yet to reach his peak - the next two years will see him get better, and once he's at his peak, we might see him go full out, into a higher gear, even as his physical attributes start to diminish. That's when Bute will be really exciting.

Bute is P4P the most hated-on boxer on ESB. I think he even surpasses Floyd.

His right hook was the punch that gave Johnson the most trouble in the fight. He was knocking Glenn all over the ring with it. He has some seriously nice punch variety.

Froch did not struggle he said himself he was in 2nd gear in there that night the froch fight was johnsons last big effort as the johnson i saw against bute was a worse version that fought ward and froch imo looked even more old and past his best and the engine just wasn't there.

to be honest, beating Johnson isnt a great thing, come on, hes lost 16 times now.

I always knew Bute would beat him easily.

I will give credit to Bute when hes fighiting a TOP contender AWAY from home (not Canada or Romania, but in someone else's backyard).

Until then hes just another Sven Ottke.

To many haters chin checkers and steroid "checkers", they dont want to give credit to anyone, I can not wait Froch vs Ward fight and then winner vs Bute!

What does beating a 42 year old guy who has lost 15 times and is 0-5 in his last world title fights prove?

    Answer: Nothing.
