I only 'hate' on him cos of the level of competition he's faced and all in his backyard. I like Bute though, he's clearly a very talented fighter and seems a nice guy, can't wait to see him dance with Froch after he beasts the billygoat.
I don't think its Butes fighting skills that people hate,its more to do with the "stay at home" attitude.If he fights the best,and is man enough to fight them anywhere,then there really will be no reason to hate the man.
I put him (and his supporters) in the same category as Slappy Joe: 168 pounder who fights fringe contenders and old men. I'm fully expecting somebody to use boxrec to show he's greater than RJJ since he just beat a guy who beat him. Of course, he's not all bad: As a fighter, he shows promise. As a sportsman, he did the honorable thing and gave Andrade a rematch after the controversial first fight.
There are so much american boxers who only fights in the US, that I've always seen these accusations as weird. Nobody has offered him good money to fight outside of Canada yet.

well i for one agree that it was a masterful performance by Bute, he stepped it up, delivered and dominated the fight. Johnson did what he could do but Bute was too strong and Johnson was never able to generate any impact. If Johnson had been 15-20lbs heavier in the ring like he was when he fought Cloud obviously things would have been a little different but that way he was inferior to Bute in terms of strength and so he couldn´t fight like hes used to and had never the ghost of a chance..
I think we should find what The president and Alien had to say before the fight. Stuff like Bute's chin gonna get shattered and blablabla. Since Bute delivered a masterful performance, they are finding other things to say and Johnson wasn't good enough. Again and again, Froch struggle agaisnt Johnson and lost the fight on one card. These 2 guys are world class morons and if there's a way I cannot see their posts anymore, I'd like to know how seriously. They are some kind of parasite and are polluting ESB forum.
I was reading you before the fight and it's all about non-sense all the time. Pure hate and no objectivity. Keep doing chinchecking but please, leave your thoughts in your head since it's probably better like that. You're not able to give Bute some credit for that shutout win...something is wrong.
